Unlike most other tour operators, London Art Tours rates are based on the guide and not per head according to the number of people in your group.

HIGHLIGHTS TOURS: £135

tour of collection/building minimum 90 minutes
maximum length of tour 2 hours


COMBINATION TOURS: £195

two highlight tours of collections/building maximum 60 minutes each
a guided walk/tour between the sites (various lengths)
maximum length of tour 3 hours


WALKING TOURS £125

walking tour (excluding internal visits)
maximum length of walk 2 hours


WHAT IS INCLUDED
  • services of a professional London Blue Badge guide
  • help and advice in designing and planning your itinerary
  • practical advice and assistance about your stay in London

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
  • admission fees (where they apply)
  • transport expenses
  • meals or refreshments

GROUP SIZE

Generally we can cope comfortably with groups of up to 15 people. An upper limit is in the region of 20-25 but that very much depends on the tour you are considering. Please let us know your requirements and we shall do our very best to accommodate them.

AVAILABILITY OF GUIDES

Because London Art Tours guides are specialists there may be times when availability is limited. Please let us have alternative dates and times that would be convenient for you.

AVAILABILITY OF WORKS

Please bear in mind that there can be no guarantee that works in permanent collections are on show at all times. Room closures can occur through staff shortages or construction work; famous works (because they are famous) may be loaned to other galleries. It is worth checking ahead if you are planning your trip to see specific things.

TIMING

We find that a 90 minute highlight tour works best as the most appropriate length - even the most ardent and dedicated art lover cannot be expected to concentrate indefinitely. With questions and discussion that might stretch to two hours but after that it's probably too much of a good thing. The sheer practicalities of combining two highlight tours and a connecting walk or tour limits the time we spend in one site to about an hour. Please let us know your requirements and we will recommend a solution.
